Colossians 3:23-24

Amplified Bible.

23 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve.

In my post convention address to my church I stated that I put a lot of work into my games. I minister at game conventions and part of that is running epic games. Beyond just game preparation is showing gratitude for people who play in my games. Part of this is the Loot Bag. Behold below (Okay that was silly.)

Inside the bag goes two mechanical pencils. At least two pages of paper minis with plastic bases. A set of dice, a reusable water bottle. 

I get a lot of judgement from believers who are not part of my church for “wasting church resources and playing those evil games.” Since my church joyfully supports the gamer ministry and I tell them exactly what I am doing their accusations fall on deaf ears.

4 Who are you to judge the servant of another? Before his own master he stands [approved] or falls [out of favor]. And he [who serves the Master—the Lord] will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
